parmesan cheese garlic bread

My daughter got this recipe from her mother in-law Diana. Everybody just loves this bread when she brings it to a family gathering. This is not a crisp bread but you can place it under the broiler for a few seconds to crisp up if desired.

Ingredients

  • 1 large loaf or french bread
  • 1 stick (cube) of soft butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/4 - 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese ( fresh grated ..not the type in the green can)

How To Make parmesan cheese garlic bread

  • Step 1
    Slice French bread loaf into thick slices , but keeping the loaf intact.
  • Step 2
    Pressed garlic cloves through a garlic press and mix into the soft butter ; Add olive oil and the grated Parmesan cheese and mix until creamy.
  • Step 3
    Place butter mixture between each slice on french loaf ; Wrap loaf in aluminum foil and Bake @ 400° for 10-12 minutes.
