onion squares
I found this recipe in my Grandma Williams church cookbook. I thought it was worth sharing for all you onion lovers out there. These are very good! I like to eat these on the side with a bowl of pinto beans....yummy! *Google Pic*

Ingredients
- - 1 egg, beaten
- - 3/4 cup sweet milk
- - 2 cups biscuit mix
- - 2 teasppons of poppy seeds
- - 2 cups sweet onions, chopped
- - 2 tablespoons butter
- - 1 egg
- - 3/4 cup sour cream
- - paprika
How To Make onion squares

Step 1Blend egg, milk, biscuit mix, and poppy seeds.

Step 2Turn into 9x9 inch pan.

Step 3Fry onion in butter until lightly browned.

Step 4Spread onions on dough.

Step 5Beat egg with sour cream.

Step 6Spread sour cream mixture on onions.

Step 7Bake at 400 for 25 minutes.

Step 8Remove from oven.

Step 9Sprinkle a little paprika on top.

Step 10Cut into squares.

Step 11Serve warm.
