My niece gave me this recipe, I never liked Irish bread, ugh, so dry. Not this one, makes two, the more the better.
You don't have to be Irish to enjoy it either.

Ingredients

4 c
flour
1 c
sugar
5 tsp
baking powder
2
eggs
1/2 c
water
1 1/4 c
milk
1 tsp
salt
1 box
(15oz) golden or dark raisins
5 tsp
butter or margarine

Step-By-Step

1Mix all ingredients in 1 bowl ~ grease and flour large black iron pan = bake 350 for 45 min. (or)
2 cake pans 8" = 20 minutes
2 cake pans 9" = 40 minutes
2Check with toothpick in middle as I found it didn't take that much cooking time, keep your eye on it.
