    yellow cornmeal
  • 2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 c
  • 2 Tbsp
    baking powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp
  • 2 1/2 c
  • 1 c
    vegetable oil
  • 5
    large eggs

How to Make Mrs Sylvia Cornbread


  1. Preheat oven to 350; grease a 9x13x2 inch; In a large bowl combine cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder and salt and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, beat together the milk, oil and eggs and add the cornmeal, flour mixture and stir until just combined. Pour into the prepared pan. Bake for40-45 min
