Ingredients

- 1 cup luke warm water
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 2 tablespoons yeast
- STEP 2
- 2 cups luke warm water
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1 tablespoon salt (heaping tablespoon)
- 1/2 cup saflower oil
- STEP 3
- 9 cups flour
How To Make moms honey bread

Step 1Combine first three ingredients and let stand 10 minutes. Stir until blended.

Step 2Add next four ingredients and beat.

Step 3Then stir in flour 1 cup at a time. You may need to adjust flour amount or add a little water at this point to get correct consistency. Knead until smooth and elastic.

Step 4Place in a bowl, cover and set in a warm place to rise to double in size, 1-2 hours. Punch down and divide into 3 loaves. Shape and place in greased loaf pans. Cover and let rise again until rounded over top of pan, approx. 1 hour.

Step 5Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Cool on wire rack.
