mom's butterhorn rolls
This is my Mother's recipe. She made these every holiday. I found a hand-written copy of this recipe when going through her things after she passed away in December 2010. I'm not sure I'll ever be able to make them like she did, but I'm sure going to try.

Ingredients
- 1 package dry yeast
- 3 tablespoons warm water
- 1/2 cup oleo (margarine)
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup warm water
- 2 - eggs, beaten
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
How To Make mom's butterhorn rolls

Step 1Mix 1 pdg. dry yeast into 3 Tbsp. warm water, set aside.

Step 2Mix 1/2 cup oleo, 1/3 cup sugar, 1 tsp. salt & 1 cup warm water. Stir in 2 beaten eggs, & 2 cups all-purpose flour.

Step 3Add yeast mixture. Do not knead. Place in refrigerator over-night.

Step 4Before baking divide dough into thirds with spoon in bowl. Take out 1/3 piece, place a ball on floured surface. Roll into circle. Brush with melted oleo.

Step 5With pizza cutter cut circle into 8 pieces. Roll starting with wide side.

Step 6Bake at 350* after rising. Watch closely.
