My husband just loves these. I make them in mini meatloaf pan it makes 12 and they are just the right size.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup golden raisins
  • 1 1/2 cups buttermilk
  • 2 1/4 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup molasses
  • 3 tablespoons canola oil
  • 3/4 cup dark brown sugar

How To Make molasses mini loafs

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven 350 degrees. Grease a mini meatloaf pan or regular bread pan.
  • Step 2
    Place the raisins in a bowl and sprinkle with a little flour and dust them well.
  • Step 3
    In a medium bowl mix the buttermilk, molasses, oil, and brown sugar until sugar is dissolved. mix in the dry ingredients and then stir in the raisins.
  • Step 4
    Bake for 25 minutes in mini pan or muffin pan or 45 to 50 minutes regular bread pan
