My husband just loves these. I make them in mini meatloaf pan it makes 12 and they are just the right size.

  • 3/4 c
    golden raisins
  • 1 1/2 c
  • 2 1/4 c
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 1/3 c
  • 3 Tbsp
    canola oil
  • 3/4 c
    dark brown sugar

How to Make Molasses Mini Loafs


  1. Preheat oven 350 degrees. Grease a mini meatloaf pan or regular bread pan.
  2. Place the raisins in a bowl and sprinkle with a little flour and dust them well.
  3. In a medium bowl mix the buttermilk, molasses, oil, and brown sugar until sugar is dissolved. mix in the dry ingredients and then stir in the raisins.
  4. Bake for 25 minutes in mini pan or muffin pan or 45 to 50 minutes regular bread pan
