moist banana bread

Look no further for a very moist and delicious banana bread recipe! *I normally use the foil loaf pans but today I experimented with my AS SEEN ON TV BROWNIE PAN SET.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder (fresh is best!)
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups white sugar
  • 1/2 cup vegetable or canola oil
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 2 cups mashed very ripe bananas (4)
  • 3 - eggs

How To Make moist banana bread

  • Step 1
    Spray loaf pan with Pam or similar. This recipe makes two loaves if using foil pans (NOT the mini sized ones)
  • Step 2
    Mix all dry ingredients first. Make a well in the center then pour all liquid ingredients.
  • Step 3
    Blend together well. Pour mixture into greased loaf pan about 2/3 full. Sprinkle additional chopped nuts on top. Bake at 350 degrees until done (approximately 48 minutes)
