Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup yellow cornmeal
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 cup butter, softened or melted
- 1 cup sugar
- 15 ounces cream style corn
- 4 1/2 ounces can diced green chilies, drained
- 1/2 cup shredded monterey jack cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 - eggs
How To Make mexican cornbread

Step 1Combine flour, cornmeal, baking powder, and salt in a bowl. Set aside.

Step 2In a separate bowl, beat butter and sugar together. Beat in eggs one at a time. Stir in corn, cheese, and chilies until well blender.

Step 3Stir in dry ingredients into the wet ingredients a little at a time until well blended. Pour batter into a greased 13x9 inch pan. Place in a preheated 300 degree oven for 1 hour.
