marang steamed bread

It's one of my newly innovated recipes ...Marang is a one of the Jackfruit's varieties which is abundant in Davao City, Philippines

Ingredients

  • 20 grams all purpose flour
  • 1 small egg
  • 100 grams brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 20 grams marang fruit's meat
  • 16 ounces evaporated milk or water

How To Make marang steamed bread

  • Step 1
    Mix thoroughly Marang fruit's meat to all ingredients, until done well...if it's too sticky add a 1/4 cup of water or evaporated milk.
  • Step 2
    Put in a baking pan, garnished with a little amount of butter to prevent bread from sticking, cover with a foil and steamed in 30 minutes.
  • Step 3
    take it out from the baking pan and slice diagonally...serve up to 5 persons.
