  • 20 g
    all purpose flour
  • 1 small
  • 100 g
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 tsp
  • 20 g
    marang fruit's meat
  • 16 oz
    evaporated milk or water

How to Make Marang Steamed Bread


  1. Mix thoroughly Marang fruit's meat to all ingredients, until done well...if it's too sticky add a 1/4 cup of water or evaporated milk.
  2. Put in a baking pan, garnished with a little amount of butter to prevent bread from sticking, cover with a foil and steamed in 30 minutes.
  3. take it out from the baking pan and slice diagonally...serve up to 5 persons.
