I love making mango bread when mango season is upon us. Using very ripe, juicy mangoes will yield you a very moist and delicious bread. An added plus, this recipe doubles as a banana bread recipe...just substitute the mango with very ripe bananas. I've tried many banana bread recipes including those with sour cream but this one has much more flavor and texture. Everyone who has tried it agrees!

Makes 6 mini loaves
Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups very ripe mangoes mashed (or very ripe bananas)
- 3 - eggs (room temperature)
How To Make mango bread

Step 1Mix all dry ingredients first.

Step 2Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients then pour all liquid ingredients.

Step 3Blend together well. Bake at 350 degrees until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean, approximately 50 minutes. Do not overbake.
