kimi's amazing bacon burgers
Oh my goodness...If I owned a diner this would be on the menu. A burger fitting on the hoagie roll, with onions sauted in bacon, provolone cheese melted and a pile of crisp bacon on the top....Fit for a bacon LOVER!!

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 2 large onions
- 12 ounces pkg of bacon
- 6 slices provolone cheese
- 3 - hoagie rolls
- 1 - egg
- 1/3 cup panko bread crumbs
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 2 tablespoons dried onions
- - favorite seasoning
- - salt & pepper
How To Make kimi's amazing bacon burgers

Step 1In large bowl, combine hamburger, onions, garlic, egg, bread crumbs, seasoning and salt & pepper; mix well. Shape burgers to fit in hoagie roll. See picture..In large fry pan cook burgers. Remove from pan & set aside.

Step 2In same pan add onions and 4 slices of bacon. Add ground pepper. Cook till brown and tender.

Step 3Cook bacon till crisp. I do mine in the oven on 425F for 20 minutes or until crisp; remove and drain on paper towels.

Step 4Assemble the hamburger with 2 slice of provolone cheese. Place in the 425F oven to melt the cheese and brown the edges of the bread. Remove from oven and spoon on onions and then pile bacon on top.
