If you hate store bought croutons as much as I do then you'll LOVE these homemade ones!

Ingredients

  • ·
    day old french or italian bread
  • ·
    olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp
    crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 tsp
    garlic powder
  • ·
    salt and pepper to taste

How to Make Kicked Up Croutons

Step-by-Step

  1. Pre heat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Cut the bread into cubes and put into a large bowl. Drizzle with olive oil, crushed red pepper, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Spread the cubes onto a baking sheet and bake for around 12 minutes or until golden.
