jalapeno cornbread

this cornbread will warm you up with all it's spicy goodness! This goes well with my potato soup.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups jiffy cornbread mix
  • 2 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup salad oil
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 can cream-style corn
  • 1 - onion, grated
  • 1/2 cup jalapeno peppers, chopped (use more or less depending on your preference)
  • 3 - eggs, beaten
  • 1 pound hot sausage, cooked and drained
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

How To Make jalapeno cornbread

  • Step 1
    preheat oven and oiled pans to 425*F. Mix all ingredients well and pour ito preheated pans. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until lightly browned. Let cool slightly before cutting.
