How to Make Homemade croutons
- Heat oven to 425 degrees.
- Cut bread into 1 inch cubes.
- Combine oil (I use olive oil when available)and seasonings into a very large bowl.
- Place bread cubes in bowl and mix until all bread is coated.
- Spread bread cubes out on a baking sheet, in a single layer.
- Bake, stirring halfway through and continue baking until browned. About 20 min works for me.
- When cool place in an air tight bag.
