How To Make homemade brioche hamburger buns
-
Step 1Place the warm water and milk in a bowl. Make sure it's around 110 degrees. Add the yeast and sugar and let sit 10 minutes until it's nice and foamy.
-
Step 2Place both flours in a stand mixer with a hook attachment. Add the butter and salt and mix until you don't see the butter anymore.
-
Step 3Add the eggs one at a time. Add more flour if the dough is too sticky. Knead it with the stand mixer on low speed for 10 minutes.
-
Step 4Place in an oiled bowl and cover with plastic wrap. Let rise in a warm place for 1 hour until doubled.
-
Step 5Punch the dough down and roll it into 6 balls. Set them in ring molds on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Let raise again for an hour or until doubled.
-
Step 6Brush with an egg and water mixture.
-
Step 7Bake at 400 degrees for about 10 minutes.
-
Step 8Remove from the ring molds and cut in half.
