I love having Bisquick on hand in my pantry, and making it myself, I know exactly what's in it and it costs less than buying it at the store. There are lots of recipes online for Homemade Bisquick, but I found this one to be the simplest to remember. I just think of the numbers 6, 3, 1. It's also salt free for those on Salt Free diets.

Ingredients

  • 6 cups all purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons baking powder
  • 1 cup butter flavored crisco

How To Make homemade bisquick

  • Step 1
    Sift Flour and Baking Powder into a large mixing bowl.
  • Step 2
    Cut the Butter Flavored Crisco into the flour,thoroughly, with a pastry blender until the mixture takes on a grainy texture.
  • Step 3
    Keep Homemade Bisquick in an air tight container, in a cool, dry place, for up to 4 months.
