Any tomato will work, but to me there is nothing as good a fresh tomato from the garden. Always pick your tomatoes in the morning when they are at their best, Don't slice tomatoes until 30 minutes or less before your ready from them. Never store tomatoes in the fridge, store your tomatoes stem side up they won't spoil as easy if you do.
