  • 1/4 c
  • 1/4 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    basil,marjoram and oregano
  • 1
    frozen bread dough,thawed
  • 3/4 c
    mozzarella cheese

How to Make Herbed Bread Twists


  1. Combine butter and seasonings in a small bowl.
  2. On floured surface roll dough into 12 inch square. Spread with butter mixture to within 1/2 of edge.Sprinkle with cheese.
  3. Fold dough into thirds.Cut widthwise into 24 strips.Twist each strip twice,p;inch ends to seal.Place 2 inches apart on greased baking sheet.Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled.About 40 minutes.Beat egg and 1 tablespoon of water and brush over dough.Sprinkle with 4 teaspoons sesame seeds. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes till golden brown.
