This recipe came to me by way of one of my sister-in-laws. This is sooooooooo good that I don't dare show up at our family reunions or any other family functions without it! Everyone loves it. It's so gooey and delish!

Ingredients

  • 1 - french or italian bread
  • 1/2 bunch green onions, minced
  • 1 stick butter, melted
  • 1 small can chopped black olives
  • 1/2 pound mozzarella cheese, low-fat
  • 1/2 cup hellman's real mayonnaise
  • - garlic and onion powders to taste

How To Make greek bread

  • Step 1
    Slice the bread, lengthwise, and pull out some the bread from the bottom. Make like a bed for the filling.
  • Step 2
    Combine all other ingredients and stuff inside the bottom of the bread. Put the top on.
  • Step 3
    Lay on some heavy duty aluminum foil. At this point you can make slices. It's really easier to do at this point. Enclose the bread in the foil and place in a pre-heated 350* oven for around 20 minutes. Let rest for about 10 minutes and enjoy!
  • Step 4
    ORRRRRR, you may do the top of the bread in the same manner and broil until hot and bubbly.
