great-grandmom kuppel's corn fritters
I got this recipe from my Mother-in-law Elaine, and she got it from her mother! They are yummy! This makes a lot, but they can also be frozen.

Ingredients
- 2 - 14oz. cans cream style corn
- 3 1/2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 - egg
- - salt & pepper
- 3/4 cup oil
How To Make great-grandmom kuppel's corn fritters

Step 1Heat oil in a large fry pan.

Step 2Mix together all ingredients.

Step 3Spoon very heaping tablespoonfuls of batter into hot oil, 4 or 5 at a time. Flatten slightly with the spoon.

Step 4Fry until golden brown on the bottom; flip over. Repeat.

Step 5Drain on paper towel lined plate.

Step 6Serve with butter, salt & pepper; or butter & pancake syrup; or just enjoy them plain. :)
