Ingredients
- 2 packages active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 2 - eggs
- 3-4 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 8 ounces sour cream
How To Make grandma's sour cream crescent rolls

Step 1Place butter in a small saucepan and bring to boil Remove from heat.

Step 2Stir in sour cream and sugar. Cool to 115 degrees

Step 3Dissolve yeast in warm water and let sit for 5 minutes

Step 4Stir in Sour cream mixture and beaten eggs.

Step 5Combine all dry ingredients. Gradually add dry ingredients to sour cream and egg and yeast mixture, mixing well.

Step 6Cover and refrigerate for at least 8 hrs.

Step 7Punch down dough and divide into four equal parts

Step 8Roll each part into a 10 in round. I use a pizza stone covered with flour. Cut into four with a pizza cutter and then cut each of the four into three. Ending up with 12 sections.

Step 9Brush with melted butter (this is in addition to what you used in the dough) then roll up from the wide end and place on ungreased cookie sheet point side down and curl in slightly.

Step 10Bake in 375 degree pre heated oven for 10 minutes (golden brown)

Step 11Brush with more melted butter after removing from oven and enjoy!!
