Ingredients

  • ·
    1/3 cup butter
  • ·
    1/2 cup sugar
  • ·
    2 eggs
  • ·
    1 3/4 cups sifted flour
  • ·
    1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ·
    1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • ·
    1/2 teaspoon salt
  • ·
    1 cup mashed bananas
  • ·
    1/2 cup chopped nuts

How to Make Gramma's Banana Bread

Step-by-Step

  1. Cream together butter and sugar.
  2. Add eggs and beat well.
  3. Sift together dry ingredients;add to creamed mixture. Add mashed bananas and blend well. Stir in nuts.
  4. Pour into well greased 9x5x3 loaf pan. Bake at 350 for 50 minutes or till toothpick comes out clean.
