Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3 cups flour
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3 - eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup molasses
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups vanilla or white chocolate chips

How To Make gingerbread scones with white chocolate

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 400. Mix dry ingredients, cut in soft, yet chilled butter using a pastry tool or two knives.
  • Step 2
    In a separate bowl, mix eggs, milk and vanilla. Pour into flour/butter mix along with the molasses. Once well mixed, add in chips and extra flour if too sticky/wet.
  • Step 3
    Form mixture in a large round and score into 8 sections or place individual formed mounds on the baking sheet. Bake for 30-40 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
