1/4 c
shortening (i use butter crisco)
3 Tbsp
1 pkg
yeast (about 1 tablespoon)
1 c
unflavored yogurt
1/2 c
potato starch
1 1/2 c
1/2 tsp
baking soda
1 Tbsp
baking powder
2 tsp
xanthan gum
3/4 tsp
1 tsp
apple cider vinegar

How to Make GF Egg Bread loaf


  • 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine all ingredients. Mix well to remove all lumps. Metal spoons work well to stir.
    The dough will be quite wet. Place dough in a greased loaf pan. Smooth top with wet hands.
    Bake 40-45 minutes, until loaf is slightly browned and toothpick inserted in middle tests clean. Serves 10, makes a large loaf. Cool thorougly, i use a bread slicing guide to cut.
