6 slice
day old bread (i used italian bread)
1/4 c
4 Tbsp
olive oil, extra virgin
1/4 tsp
garlic powder
1 tsp
parsley flakes
1 tsp
chives, dried
fresh grated parmesan cheese
fresh ground black pepper

How to Make Garlic Parmesan Crutons


  • 1Melt butter, add in olive oil. Add in garlic powder stir til dissolved. Add parsley flakes and dried chives. Set aside. Sprinkle in Parmesan Cheese and mix.
  • 2Cut crusts off of bread. then cut into 3/4" to 1" pieces. Add in the Butter Mixture, make sure to get all pieces coated.
  • 3Spread pieces onto a baking sheet, making sure to spread apart. Sprinkle with fresh grated black pepper and salt.
  • 4Bake in a 300* oven for 15 minutes, turn pieces over and return to oven for 15 minutes more. Let cool before serving on salad....or munch on them while warm!
