garlic parmesan crutons

Ingredients
- 6 slices day old bread (i used italian bread)
- 1/4 cup butter
- 4 tablespoons olive oil, extra virgin
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon parsley flakes
- 1 teaspoon chives, dried
- - fresh grated parmesan cheese
- - fresh ground black pepper
- - salt
How To Make garlic parmesan crutons

Step 1Melt butter, add in olive oil. Add in garlic powder stir til dissolved. Add parsley flakes and dried chives. Set aside. Sprinkle in Parmesan Cheese and mix.

Step 2Cut crusts off of bread. then cut into 3/4" to 1" pieces. Add in the Butter Mixture, make sure to get all pieces coated.

Step 3Spread pieces onto a baking sheet, making sure to spread apart. Sprinkle with fresh grated black pepper and salt.

Step 4Bake in a 300* oven for 15 minutes, turn pieces over and return to oven for 15 minutes more. Let cool before serving on salad....or munch on them while warm!
