How to Make FLOATING ISLANDS

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350. Cut together flour, yolks, and butter to form coarse crumbs.
  2. Add enough milk to moisten so dough can be rolled out.
  3. Roll dough thinly on floured surface. Cut into square or diamond shapes.
  4. Place on cookie sheet and bake at 350 until browned.
  5. Place baked islands in serving bowls; then cover with creamy soup.
