Ingredients
- 5 cups all purpose flour
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 cup sugar (divided)
- 1t teaspoon salt
- 1 package dry yeast
- 1 cup water, warm
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 1/2 cup oil
How To Make easy sour dough rolls

Step 1Dissolve yeast in water with 1 teaspoon sugar. Mix dry ingredients flour,baking powderremaining sugarand salt in a large mixing bowl. Add buttermilk and yeast mixture and stir well. Cover and let rise for about 3 hours or over night. Roll out into balls and place on lightly greased cookie sheets. I let mine rise again for about an hour. Then Bake for 10 minutes on 400. Brush the tops with butter when done.
