easy cottage bread
From my moms kitchen this is so good with fresh honey butter, or butter and fresh strawberry or peach jam.

Ingredients
- 2 2/3 cups warm water
- 2 tablespoons active dry yeast ( or 2 pkgs )
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 6 1/2 cups flour
How To Make easy cottage bread

Step 1Put water and yeast into a large bowl and let dissolve.

Step 2Once they are dissolved stir in sugar, salt, and melted butter.

Step 3Add half of the flour beat until smooth, add remaining flour. It will be very sticky and thick.

Step 4Cover bowl ( oil the bowl first )and let rise for 30 minutes - beat down

Step 5Spoon into 2 greased break loaf pans, let ride covered with plastic or a wet towel.

Step 6Bake at 375 degreed for 35 minutes.
