- 1 1/4 cups flour
- 3/4 cup yellow cornmeal
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup skim milk
- 1/4 cup corn, vegetable, or canola oil
- 1 large egg, beaten
How To Make easy cornbread

Step 1Grease an 8 or 9 inch cake pan. Combine dry ingredients. Stir in milk, oil, and egg mixing just until dry ingredients are moist. Pour into prepared pan. Bake at 400 for 20-25 minutes until light golden brown and toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
