How to Make Dinner Rolls
- 1In a large bowl place scalded milk, sugar, salt and shortening, stir. Cool until lukewarm.
- 2In a small bowl, stir yeast into warm water. Stir until dissolved. Stir into lukewarm mixture.
- 3Add flour, stir until well blended.
- 4Cover with towel and let rise until doubled. Stir batter well, then beat for about 30 seconds.
- 5Pinch off and fill greased muffin pans. Bake at 400 for 25 minutes.
