- 1 - loaf ( 1 pound) french bread, or any crusty bread
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 2 - 3 cups shredded, mexican cheese blend, or cheddar
How To Make crunchy cheese toast

Step 1Cut bread into 1/2 to 3/4 inch slices, depends how thick you want it. Place on ungreased baking sheets. In a small bowl, whisk the oil, thyme and cayenne until blended. Brush over bread slices. Sprinkle with cheese, as much as you like. Bake at 300 degree for 12 - 15 minutes or until bread is golden brown and cheese is bubbly..
