Cranberry Orange Nut Bread

This is the recipe I use for my Cranberry Nut Bread. So many different ones ~ I have just stuck with this one.

  • 2 c
  • 1 c
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 tsp
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 3/4 c
    orange juice, fresh
  • 1 Tbsp
    grated orange peel
  • 2 Tbsp
    vegetable oil
  • 1
    egg, well beaten
  • 1 1/2 c
    cranberries/ coarsely chopped
  • 1/2 c
    chopped walnuts

How to Make Cranberry Orange Nut Bread


  1. Mix together first 5 ingredients. Stir in the orange juice, orange peel, vegetable oil and egg.
    Mix until well blended. Stir in cranberries and nut. Spread in loaf pan.
  2. Bake 350 degrees for 55 minutes.
    Cool 15 minutes wrap and store overnight for best flavor.
