Ingredients
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1 cup flour
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/3 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 - eggs
- 6 tablespoons melted butter (3/4 stick)
How To Make country kitchen cornbread

Step 1In a bowl, stir together first 5 ingredients until blended.

Step 2In another bowl, beat together remaining ingredients until blended.

Step 3Add the dry ingredients and stir until mixture is blended. Do not overmix.

Step 4Spread batter into a greased 9x9-inch pan and bake in a 350° oven for 25 to 30 minutes or until top is golden brown and a cake tester, inserted in center, comes out clean.

Step 5Cut into squares and serve warm.
