Ingredients

  • 1 cup + 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 - egg
  • 4 1/2 teaspoons vegetable oil
  • 3 1/4 cups flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 1/14 teaspoons yeast
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted

How To Make country dinner rolls

  • Step 1
    In the bread machine pan, place all ingredients in order as recommended by the manufacturer. Usually liquids first then end with yeast. Select dough setting. Check dough after 5 minutes and if needed add 1-2 teaspoons of water if the dough is too dry or flour if the dough is too moist.
  • Step 2
    Lightly grease a 9 x 13 pan. When dough is finished, shape into 15 balls. Cover and let rise until about double in size. Bake at 350º for 12-15 minutes. Brush tops with melted butter.
  • Step 3
    NOTE: This can also be baked as a loaf of bread. Instead of choosing dough setting, select the basic bread setting and bake as normal.
