Ingredients For cornbread

  • 1 c
    corn meal mix (i prefer aunt jemima buttermilk)
  • 1
  • 1 c
    canned cream style corn (we have small cans that are perfect)
  • 1 c
    sour cream
  • 1/2 c
    chopped onion
  • 2 Tbsp

How To Make cornbread

    Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  • 2
    Mix all ingredients and pour into a greased 8x8 pan or a preheated cast iron skillet.

    Bake for 25 minutes or until light golden brown.

    Also good with a can of chopped green chilies added to the mix.
