This always a hit. Moist and delicious.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup corn meal mix (i prefer aunt jemima buttermilk)
  • 1 - egg
  • 1 cup canned cream style corn (we have small cans that are perfect)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2 tablespoons oil

How To Make cornbread

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  • Step 2
    Mix all ingredients and pour into a greased 8x8 pan or a preheated cast iron skillet.
  • Step 3
    Bake for 25 minutes or until light golden brown.
  • Step 4
    Also good with a can of chopped green chilies added to the mix.
