How to Make Cornbread
- Sift dry ingredients into a mixing bowl.
- Add milk and egg; stirring until combined
- Heat bacon drippings in a black skillet (that you are going to cook the bread) in a 450 degree oven.
- Add about half the drippings to the batter and stir in.
- Pour batter into a very hot black skillet and bake at 450 degrees for 20 minutes or until bread is brown.
