My mother-in-law made this Corn Bread Dressing, it was always a hit every Thanksgiving, I modified this recipe to fit our family and it is enjoyed by all.

  • 2 pkg
    (12 oz. each corn bread mix, baked & crumbled
  • 1 1/2 c
    thinly sliced celery
  • 1 c
    chopped onion
  • 1/2 c
  • 2
    boiled eggs, chopped
  • 1 1/2 c
    chicken broth
  • 1 1/2 tsp
  • 1/4 tsp

How to Make Corn Bread Dressing


  1. In a 2-quart oblong baking dish, heat celery, onion and butter in microwave 6 to 7 minutes on HIGH until celery and onion are tender, stirring twice.
  2. Add remaining ingredients, combine thoroughly.
  3. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
  4. This makes enough to stuff a 9 to 12 pound bird.
