GOT THIS RECIPE FROM TASTE OF HOME MAGAZINE 1984.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 cup yellow cornmeal ( i use 1 & 1/2 cups)
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 - eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil

How To Make corn bread

  • Step 1
    Combine dry ingredients, stir w/ a spoon. Make a well in center.
  • Step 2
    Stir in liquid ingredients, just til moistened.
  • Step 3
    Spray round or square baking dish. You can make in muffin tins, bake 20- 30 min.
  • Step 4
    Bake 400* Avoid opening oven door if possible.
