Ingredients
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups brown sugar, firmly packed
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 4 cups all purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 cups sour milk, see note in directions
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
How To Make chocolate chip nut bread

Step 1Grease 2 loaf pans. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2In a large bowl beat eggs, add sugar and butter, set aside.

Step 3In a medium bowl mix flour, baking soda and baking powder. Add dry ingredients alternately with the sour milk to the egg mixture. Mix well.

Step 4Add the chopped nuts and chocolate chips. Mix well. Pour evenly into the two greased loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for about 60 minutes or until toothpick in center comes out clean.

Step 5Note: To make Sour Milk; measure 2 cups whole milk and remove 2 tablespoons of the milk and replace it with 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar. Mix well. Let stand 15 minutes before using.
