chicken and onion ring dough for frying
My mom gave me this recipe years ago and have used it several times. She used to work in a restaurant and this is the recipe they used at the time. I have also used this recipe for the coating for vegetables ie broccoli,cauliflower,mushrooms. Could be used for other things you want to fry. It has a nice raised breaded texture after frying.

Ingredients
- 1 cup water
- 2 tablespoons baking powder
- 1 cup all purpose flour or more
- 2 - eggs
- dash pepper
How To Make chicken and onion ring dough for frying

Step 1Mix all together. May need to add more flour you want this coating thick enough that it will stick on chicken and onion rings and not to sloppy that the coating falls off. Consistency should look like thick pancake batter.
