This is good with soups, Chili, Stews, or maybe add some sort of Meat and have it become a sandwich, I like it as a sanwich ,just as it is. The recipe is from Recipe 4 Living

Ingredients

  • 1 - long loaf of french bread
  • 1/2 cup margarine, softened
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1/4 cup minced, onion
  • 2 tablespoons poppy seeds
  • 1 package sliced swiss cheese, cut into thirds
  • 2 slices cooked crispy, drained and crumbled bacon
  • - if desired, you could use store bought bacon bits
  • - pre- heat oven at 375

How To Make cheesey hot french bread

  • Step 1
    Slice, French Bread Horizontally into 2 large pieces - combine margarine, mustard, onion and poppy seeds - spread on both pieces of bread and top with the chhse slices. - place each slice in a foil boat, leaving top open, and then sprinkle the bacon across the top. Bake at 375 for 15 minutes , Take bread out of foil and cut into serving pieces. Enjoy !!
