Ingredients
- - 2 sheets ready rolled puff pastry
- - 1 egg
- - 1/2 cup cheese, finely grated
How To Make cheese twisties

Step 1Brush first sheet of pastry lightly with egg and spiracle with cheese. Brush second sheet of pastry lighty with egg and place over the cheese.

Step 2Press pastry sheets firmly together. Cut pastry sheet in half and then cut each half into 1 inch wide strips. a pastry cutter works well for this.

Step 3Pick up each strip of pastry with both hands and twist before placing on a sheet of baking paper on an oven tray.

Step 4Bake in 450 oven for 10 minutes or til golden. serve warm. Variation: Use 1 slice of finely chopped bacon and 1 Tbsp. of finely chopped pecans to replace the cheese.
