This is the best cornbread recipe I have found yet. It's moist and doesnt crumble as much as most corn breads do.

Ingredients

2/3 c
butter
1 c
sugar
3
eggs
1 2/3 c
milk
2 1/3 c
flour
1 c
cornmeal
4 1/2 tsp
baking powder
1 tsp
salt

How to Make Buttery Cornbread

Step-by-Step

  • 1In large bowl or kitchen aid mixer, cream butter and sugar.
  • 2In small bowl, combine eggs and milk.
  • 3In another bowl, combine flour, cornmeal, baking powder and salt.
  • 4Add flour mixture and milk mixture alternately into cream mixture, mix well. Pour into well greased 9x13 baking dish.
    Bake at 400 degrees for 22-27 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean.
  • 5Add a can of creamed corn for a little more moisture and texture.
