Ingredients
- 1 cup yellow cornmeal
- 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 - eggs
- 1 1/2 cups buttermilk
- 1 1/2 sticks butter, melted (divided)
How To Make buttery cornbread

Step 1in a large bowl whisk the wet ingredients.

Step 2in another bowl mix the dry ingredients...(sift the flour)

Step 3combine the wet and the dry ingredients and pour into a oil sprayed baking dish, bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until golden brown...can also be checked by inserting a toothpick and having it come out clean.

Step 4take out and slice, then drizzle with half of stick of melted butter....serve warm
