1 cyellow cornmeal
1/2 call purpose flour
1 1/2 tspbaking powder
1/2 tspbaking soda
1 1/2 cbuttermilk
1 1/2 stickbutter, melted (divided)
How to Make Buttery Cornbread
- in a large bowl whisk the wet ingredients.
- in another bowl mix the dry ingredients...(sift the flour)
- combine the wet and the dry ingredients and pour into a oil sprayed baking dish, bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until golden brown...can also be checked by inserting a toothpick and having it come out clean.
- take out and slice, then drizzle with half of stick of melted butter....serve warm
