Ingredients For buttery cornbread

1 cyellow cornmeal
-
1/2 call purpose flour
-
1 Tbspsugar
-
1 Tbspsalt
-
1 1/2 tspbaking powder

1/2 tspbaking soda
-
2eggs
-
1 1/2 cbuttermilk
-
1 1/2 stickbutter, melted (divided)
How To Make buttery cornbread

1in a large bowl whisk the wet ingredients.

2in another bowl mix the dry ingredients...(sift the flour)

3combine the wet and the dry ingredients and pour into a oil sprayed baking dish, bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until golden brown...can also be checked by inserting a toothpick and having it come out clean.

4take out and slice, then drizzle with half of stick of melted butter....serve warm
