    all purpose flour
  • 4 Tbsp
  • 2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 tsp
  • 1 1/2 c
  • 2
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 4 Tbsp
    butter, melted

How to Make Buttermilk Pancakes


  1. In large bowl whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
  2. In small bowl beat eggs, then add buttermilk and vanilla.
  3. Pour buttermilk mixture into the dry ingredients and whisk until smooth.
  4. Stir in melted butter.
  5. Pour about 1/3 cup of batter onto hot griddle. Flip the pancakes once the edges begin to dry and bubbles form and pop.
