My kids love these!. I make extra so I can freeze them. Pop 'em the microwave or toaster for a quick breakfast!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups buttermilk
  • 2 - eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted

How To Make buttermilk pancakes

  • Step 1
    In large bowl whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
  • Step 2
    In small bowl beat eggs, then add buttermilk and vanilla.
  • Step 3
    Pour buttermilk mixture into the dry ingredients and whisk until smooth.
  • Step 4
    Stir in melted butter.
  • Step 5
    Pour about 1/3 cup of batter onto hot griddle. Flip the pancakes once the edges begin to dry and bubbles form and pop.
