3/4 cbuttermilk corn meal
1 tspgarlic salt or powder
1 Tbsponion flakes
1/4 cshredded cheddar cheese
1 Tbspolive oil
How to Make Buttermilk Cornbread
- Grease iron skillet with olive oil. Sprinkle buttermilk cornmeal to cover bottom and sides of skillet.
- Mix ingredients well and pour into skillet.
- Bake at 400 degrees until cracks form in bread and it looks done (about 30 minutes). Broil until bread is slightly brown.
