Ingredients
- 3/4 cup buttermilk corn meal
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt or powder
- 1 tablespoon onion flakes
- 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon parsley
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
How To Make buttermilk cornbread

Step 1Grease iron skillet with olive oil. Sprinkle buttermilk cornmeal to cover bottom and sides of skillet.

Step 2Mix ingredients well and pour into skillet.

Step 3Bake at 400 degrees until cracks form in bread and it looks done (about 30 minutes). Broil until bread is slightly brown.
