buttermilk bread for the bread machine
I found this recipe in the 2004 Taste of Home Quick Cooking Cookbook. It was sent into them by Nita Anderson of Florence Alabama. NOTE: I just used the dough cycle on my machine. After removing the dough, it was kneaded just a bit, then formed into a loaf, placed into a greased 9 1/4 x 5 1/4 x 2 3/4 in.loaf pan, then covered with a clean dish towel. Then it was left to rise in a warm place for 1 hour. Then the oven was preheated to 350 degrees, baked for 35 minutes to 40 minutes. This recipe makes a 1 1/2 pound loaf of very soft bread. If you use your bread machine, the time that it takes will depend on your particular machine.Posted here on March 28th.,2011.
