  • 1 1/2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 tsp
  • 1 1/2 c
    corn meal
  • 3/4 c
    dark molasses
  • 2 c
    sour milk ( to sour milk, use 1 tablespoon of vinegar to each cup of milk)

How to Make Boston Brown Bread


  1. Sift together Flour, Baking Soda & Salt.
  2. Add Corn Meal, Dark Molasses and Sour Milk.
  3. Bake in loaf pan 5x9x3 for 1 hour. 350 Degrees.
