Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/8 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 zest of lemon
- 4 tablespoons butter, cold
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup berries
How To Make berry cream scone

Step 1Preheat oven to 425 degrees.

Step 2Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and lemon zest.

Step 3Cut in butter with fork or fingers until mixture resembles crumbs.

Step 4In a small bowl whisk cream and egg.

Step 5Pour cream/egg into dry ingredients and blend until combined.

Step 6Fold in berries.

Step 7Spray scone pan with cooking spray.

Step 8Spoon dough into pan.

Step 9Bake 12 - 15 minutes.

Step 10Cool in pan for 5 minutes.
